Volkswagen Mishap
July 27th, 2007I remember the time Lisa Bjornson and I borrowed Jeff Mullock’s (Patsy Lester’s boyfriend at the time) Volkswagen on our lunch hour. Neither of us knew how to drive standard so agreed not much could happen if she just turned the ignition and didn’t touch the pedals. Well, needless to say we drove right through her Mom’s garage door!! We were laughing so hard and we couldn’t even move as there was glass everywhere…even in our bras! Don’t think Jeff thought it was as funny. Months later the door was still caved in and it was used as a ‘landmark’ on our bikeathon map.
